Hearthstone F2P Challenge - Day 23 Recap
Some daily quests stacked this time with two of the quests (kind of) involving druid or hunter.
- Win 5 games with druid or hunter.
- Win 5 games with warrior or paladin.
- Win 3 games in any mode.
I wasn't feeling warrior or paladin today, so I'm saving that quest for next time.
Brawling in the Tavern
A repeat of earlier this summer, the tavern brawl consisted of picking one class then picking another one to generate a random deck from those chosen classes. I wasn't thinking about the daily quests and just went with mage and rogue.
My opponent was extremely lucky with a priest/paladin combo and I had to deal with a Ragnaros the Lightlord and a Tirion. I still managed to win by getting an Arch-Thief Rafaam.
I'm pretty happy with that pack since most of those cards are somewhat playable. I can dust the Avenging Wrath at some point if I'm desparate for a different card and there's a good chance Defias Ringleader will make it into my rogue list.
Casual Standard Games with Druid
I decided to keep the run short tonight and went with casual games since the quality of the opponent is noticably lower. I ran this druid beast deck:
2 Enchanted Raven
2 Bloodfen Raptor
1 River Crocolisk
2 Addled Grizzly
1 Jungle Panther
2 Pantry Spider
1 Savage Roar
2 Azure Drake
2 Menagerie Magician
1 Stampeding Kodo
1 Corrupted Seer
2 Menagerie Warden
1 The Curator
1 Ragnaros the Firelord
I got the 5 wins in 6 games, only losing to a rogue that had a perfect curve against me. 2 Backstabs, Eviscerate, and SI:7 Agent to kill 4 creatures was pretty good.
